Guide

How to pick a parking lot at Incheon Airport before you fly

30-second summary

  • Check your terminal (T1 or T2) first. Each has its own lots, and the wrong one costs a 15–20 minute drive back.
  • Same-day pick-ups go short-term; a day or more goes long-term. Add 30 minutes for the shuttle.
  • The numbers above can be up to 45 minutes old. If long-term is nearly full: short-term → another long-term zone → public transport.

Written for the Incheon Airport page only. Parkingo is an unofficial service with no ties to Incheon International Airport Corporation; the official Incheon Airport parking page is the authority on rates and rules.

1. Terminal and length of stay first

T1 and T2 are separate buildings with separate lots. Airline assignments change, so confirm your departure terminal on your e-ticket first.

Short-term lots sit right at the terminal but charge a high hourly rate; long-term lots need a shuttle ride but have a much lower daily cap. Over 24 hours, long-term almost always wins. Add 30 minutes for the shuttle.

2. How to read the live numbers

The figures are Incheon International Airport Corporation's public data, cached on our server for up to 45 minutes; "last updated" is when they were fetched. In peak season (holidays, summer, year-end) long-term counts move fast, so treat a few dozen remaining spaces as full.

Labels follow the share of free spaces: 30%+ Available, 10%+ Moderate, below that Crowded, zero Full. Look at the count, not just the label.

"No Info", 0 spaces or 0% means missing data, not an empty lot. If the public API is down, the figures come from the official website instead and only the source badge below switches to "Website data". Only when both sources fail does a yellow banner appear and the tabs lock; then refresh a little later or check the official page.

3. Practical tips for T1 and T2

  • T1 short-term is counted per level (B1, B2, surface). If one level is crowded, check the other cards.
  • T1 long-term is split into zones P1–P4 plus the P1/P2 towers, each with its own shuttle. Pick a zone with room and drive straight there.
  • T2 keeps short-term (BM, levels 1–3), long-term and the towers close to the terminal, so walks are shorter. "Reserved" lots are for pre-booked cars only.

4. When the lot is full or nearly full

  1. Switch type. Long-term full? Go short-term in the same terminal; it costs more, but less than a missed flight. Short-term full? Long-term plus shuttle is often faster.
  2. Move zones. Try another zone of the same type, such as T1 long-term P1–P4. With under 90 minutes to departure, skip this and go short-term.
  3. Leave the airport lots. Nearby private lots and valet services are outside Parkingo's scope. Taking AREX or a limousine bus instead is an option; for three nights or more, compare the long-term total against a round trip by transit.

5. Rates and official information

Basic rates are summarised under Parking Rates below but can change without notice. For billing, discounts and reservations, the official Incheon Airport parking page is the authority. Data sources and limits are on the About page; report errors via Contact.
